Sami Zayn is set to defend his Undisputed Championship on the upcoming episode of WWE RAW in San Diego, California.

WWE recently announced on social media that Zayn will defend his WWE Undisputed Championship against Cody Rhodes on Raw in San Diego’s Pechanga Arena.

As of now, Zayn is scheduled to face World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026, for the Crown Jewel Championship. However, Reigns might face Rhodes if the latter manages to beat Zayn on RAW.

Zayn has held the title since Sept. 11, when he defeated CM Punk on SmackDown. Since then, he has defended the championship once against Kevin Owens on Sept. 18, 2026. The match against Rhodes will mark his second title defense of this current reign.

Earlier this year, Zayn had defeated Rhodes and Gunther to win his first-ever WWE Championship. However, the reign lasted a mere nine days, when CM Punk returned and defeated Zayn to win the title.

However, as of now, WWE has not confirmed whether the Zayn vs. Rhodes match will be a televised bout or a dark match on RAW.

Updated WWE RAW lineup | Next week in San Diego

Biggest file in the book, and the file is the problem. They had Ospreay’s time off and the Wrestlepalooza matches. They also had Vaquer hurt when she said she was not. Almost half the items never finished, and the miss pile is larger than anyone else’s. A podcast aside is not a report. If another site turns that aside into a news item, the mark stays here only when the claim was theirs.
