WWE NXT and AEW Blood and Guts are set to go head-to-head on November 4, and Bryan Alvarez says NXT has been told to load up the show.

Alvarez confirmed the news in a post to his subscribers on X:

“Confirmed that November 4th NXT and AEW are going head-to-head. That’s the Blood and Guts show and NXT was told to load it up.”

TV Insider listings now show the first episode of NXT in November airing on Wednesday, November 4, rather than in its usual Tuesday timeslot. Dave Meltzer commented on Wrestling Observer Radio earlier today that the show would likely be moved due to preemptions for coverage of the U.S. midterm elections.

The November 4 episode of NXT will be the first show following NXT Halloween Havoc on Saturday, October 31. AEW Blood and Guts is scheduled for the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida.

Meltzer said on the post-AEW Dynamite edition of WOR:

“I was told by people who know that CW wants to move NXT to that Wednesday. It probably will be moved because if it’s on Tuesday, it’ll be preempted on far too many stations. That’s the night of Blood and Guts.”
