Anthony Bowens has sparked speculation that he could be headed to NJPW after a recent social media post.

On Friday, Bowens posted a photo of himself outside New Japan’s LA Dojo. AEW’s Kevin Knight was scheduled to run seminars at the dojo that day, according to NJPW.

Bowens’ AEW contract is believed to have expired on October 1. His last match for the promotion was at AEW All In London on the Buy-In pre-show, when The Opps dropped an eight-man tag team match to Lio Rush and The Rascalz.

In an interview on October 12 with Michael Fairman, Bowens hinted that he knows what he wants his next move to be following his AEW contract expiring, but is not sure if it will work out as he hopes.

“I know deep down what I want to do and we’ll see if it works out.”

During his time in AEW, Bowens was a former World Tag Team Champion with Max Caster, and World Trios Champion with Caster and Billy Gunn.

Biggest file in the book, and the file is the problem. They had Ospreay’s time off and the Wrestlepalooza matches. They also had Vaquer hurt when she said she was not. Almost half the items never finished, and the miss pile is larger than anyone else’s. A podcast aside is not a report. If another site turns that aside into a news item, the mark stays here only when the claim was theirs.
