AEW’s Bryan Danielson does not understand why people want to be on social media.
Social media is both a boon and a bane. While good for keeping track of current affairs, it can often turn out to be a nightmare for celebrities.
During Danielson’s recent appearance on the Nikki and Brie show, he opened up about social media with his wife, Brie Bella. Danielson claimed that he is rarely on social media and does not understand why people want to be there.
“I only get on social media when somebody at the company [AEW] I work for gets in trouble,” Danielson wrote. “I don’t even know. A long time. I mean, even before I retired, Meech was doing my social media,” Danielson responded when asked about the last time he was on social media.
“How does it feel?” asked Brie Bella. “I mean, it’s great. I mean, I don’t know really because I’ve never been deep in the social media game. I can’t even understand why people would want to be on social media. It makes no sense to me,” Danielson responded.
“I mean, it’s a business tool, but what about the people who aren’t selling people things? Like, there are people who are selling things and there are people who are being sold things. And then there’s really — it’s just the attention economy, right? As far as these platforms go,” he finished.
Away from in-ring action for months now, Danielson recently made his in-ring return on the AEW Dynamite PAC tribute show against The Don Callis Family.
