Alex Zayne is reportedly not signed to AEW or ROH.

According to Fightful Select, Zayne, who often competed in Ring of Honor, currently has no official deal with AEW or the promotion.

His most recent association with the promotion came at the ROH tapings last week, where he competed despite not being under contract with either AEW or ROH.

Zayne’s wrestling career also includes a brief tenure with WWE. He signed with the promotion in late 2020 and made his television debut in May 2021 under the name Ari Sterling. He competed on 205 Live and later made appearances on NXT before being released by WWE in August 2021, bringing his run with the company to less than a year.

Following this, he competed in NJPW, GCW and IMPACT Wrestling. In 2021, he returned to ROH where he won the Honor Rumble at Death Before Dishonor.

Despite his recent ROH appearances, there is currently no indication of whether AEW or ROH intends to offer Zayne a new contract.
