Will Ospreay made a surprise appearance at an NJPW event on Saturday.

Ospreay is scheduled to team with his United Empire stablemates HENARE and Great-O-Khan against Jeff Cobb, Yuto-Ice, and OSKAR for the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Championships on Monday at NJPW King of Pro-Wrestling.

At Saturday’s Road to King of Pro-Wrestling event in Uonuma, Niigata, Ospreay appeared following an eight-man tag team match between United Empire’s HENARE, O-Khan, Callum Newman, and Zane Jay and Unbound Company’s Cobb, Yuto-Ice, OSKAR, and Gedo.

Ospreay attacked Yuto-Ice, OSKAR, and Cobb, hitting Cobb with a Hidden Blade. He then cut a promo saying that he was ready for Monday’s match.

NJPW wrote about Ospreay’s surprise appearance on social media (translated from Japanese):

“The venue is in an uproar! Will Ospreay makes a surprise appearance at the Uonuma event!”

Saturday’s NJPW Road to King of Pro-Wrestling show was not televised and did not stream on NJPW World.

NJPW King of Pro-Wrestling takes place Monday, October 12, at Ryogoku Sumo Hall in Tokyo, Japan. F4WOnline will have live results of the show.
