“Stone Cold” Steve Austin, one of pro wrestling’s all-time greats, has wrapped up his first off-road racing season and is excited for what’s to come in 2027.
Off-road racing has become a huge hobby and passion for Austin, who competes for VORRA (Valley Off-Road Racing Association) in his home state of Nevada. His final race of the 2026 season was Monster Dash 2026 on October 24. Austin did well in qualifying and started the race strong but was not able to finish the second moto. Austin sent out a message today thanking all of his sponsors and saying he will continue with VORRA for the 2027 season. His Broken Skull Racing team is also planning on competing in some other events.
“The 2026 Broken Skull Racing season is over. We compete in Stock Mod division, and will stay there again for 2027 season,” Austin wrote. “Thanks to @valleyoffroadracingassociation for the great races this year. We will run the VORRA schedule next year and will also hit KOH, Mint, V2R. Thanks to our sponsors for all the help.”
Austin, fittingly, drives a #316 Kawasaki car. He won the stock mod category in his first two races but faced more adversity in his final two, including making a mistake in August’s Stomping Grounds 300 that knocked him out of the race and caused some “pretty good damage” to his car.
Racing is something Austin has taken seriously and devoted a significant amount of his time to. With WrestleMania taking place from Nevada in both 2025 and 2026, he was in town each year, including making an on-camera appearance at WrestleMania 41 where he announced the attendance for night two.
